In 2017, Chris went to El Salvador on a business trip, where he learned of the unfortunate realities of food insecurities in low income communities. Soon after his return to Pittsburgh in 2018, he founded the non-profit organization, Mount of Olives Inc.
Having seen the effects of food insecurities first hand, Chris turned his attention to the global food crisis and the millions of individuals without access to adequate and healthy food. With over 15 years of experience in finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship, Chris brings a unique business background that will be used to effectively address this global crisis.
Growing up in the Northside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Aleaise always had a passion for agriculture, even though she was not raised on a farm! What intrigued her the most, is how something as small as a seed, could be planted in the ground and become a fruit or vegetable over time. Aleaise brings over 20 years of customer service experience to the Mount of Olives, which will be used to establish and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with the communities that we are operating in.
